This project was a 6,770 GSF Public Safety facility addition including an attached fire apparatus storage garage, attached to the existing garage building, adjacent to Robins City Hall.

The building is comprised of two parts: a 3,400 GSF residential-grade wood-framed structure for the offices and personnel spaces, and a 3,370 GSF clear span wood-framed structure for the fire apparatus garage.

The center office section is clad with vinyl siding and masonry trim. The roofs over both the additions are asphalt shingles over decking and wood trusses. Doors are primarily pre-hung metal-clad units for the exterior with pre-hung flush-panel wood doors inside.

The garage doors are insulated steel with standard door operators with remote openers. Windows are vinyl, and trim and accessories are also vinyl, to match the siding.

The interior finishes of the structure are primarily gypsum wall board with paint, some vinyl wall covering; ceramic tile, carpet and vinyl tile on the floors; and some acoustical tile ceilings in a few rooms.

Mechanical systems consist of furnace/air-conditioning units serving individual zones, and radiant heat for the garages.

Electrical power and lighting are appropriate for the intended uses. Site work consists of on-site grading to prepare the area for the building pad and paving, and extension of the surrounding utilities to the building.
